Star Wars, Bikes, and Real Fake Gold

April 10, 2008

I put up a bulletin a few days ago, the topic being what to do with some money I have set aside. The plan for it was a new bike, but tattoos came up and I realised how long it’s been since I got tattood, and then I got sad. I’ve been thinking about a Star Wars sleeve for a while now, and while having a conversation with one of my bands tour managers, I found out about a tattoo artist in Brooklyn that is Star Wars obsessesed. Seemed like a good fit, so that got me thinking about the sleeve (for my leg) and what to do. I didnt want to do a scene from one movie or one character, I wanted to do something more “big picture” if that makes sense, something that covers more of the movie. If anyone has any idea, please leave me a comment!!

Also, we had a visitor this weekend! Abby Morgan a.k.a. Real Fake Gold, the first artist signed to The Effort Music Co.. We had an awsome time getting to hang out for the weekend, filled with museums, restaraunts, exploring Brooklyn and listening to lots of her music that she brought us! Shes amazing and you need to check out her stuff, I literally get goosbumps listening to it. More HERE.

Oh, and the smoking… Well I got pretty fucked up the other night and messed that up, I smoked, then bought a pack. So, the plan is to finish the pack, only smoke when im out and drinking, and once that pack is gone, im done for good! Ill keep you updated.

Also, its 68 degrees out right now, someone explain to me why im in a cubical. My bikes in pieces right now… cause im painting it!!! hopefully it will be finished tonight and put back together tomorrow so pictures should be up soon!
